Why I choose the Information Systems ? because I like things that smells of computers or more precisely about programming and pc games. My goal in choosing an IS department is to become a programmer. And I often watch movies about hackers who study computer languages, but after I entered the department was not as easy as what I see in the movies. Also because the world will surely advance and will use sophisticated tools such as gadgets then I see the job field that may be in every company requires a programmer.
In addition in the current era of globalization, the development of technology has grown very rapidly. Where all the activities we do can not be separated from the use of computer technology. Education about computers is in need. Therefore, I choose to major in information systems because I think this field is very useful if I have graduated later.
Starting from a fondness in the field of technology, then I chose the majors related to computerization. Finally I was looking for information about majors related to computer science in internet media. After I search finally I got a good reputed campus and recommended for student / student enthusiasts of information technology and computer science in Depok area. The campus does not have one faculty, but the achievement of the campus is more prominent to the field of computer science and information technology.
In addition, in the department of information systems are very much in interest by the students because we can learn to analyze a data, even create a program. This is what makes me interested in taking this course. Besides being able to create programs, my computer is also my hobby. Learning from something that is a hobby is also the most important thing as well.
Computers seemed very influential in all areas eg: banking, business in a company requires internet technology that also can not be separated from the computer. Therefore a company needs computer experts to develop the company. That is why I chose this department of information system is this department is learning about technology. Technology is an activity that will continue to grow from time to time and is needed for all levels of society. Talking about technology, must be talking about computers, prepare yourself for something that smells of computers and develop a logical understanding. Logic is greatly used in this lesson because many will be studied like understanding machine language to be interpreted into human language, and vice versa.
Honestly it is hard for me to adapt in the first place, but I think I grew better and better so slowly I can be happy and success in this major. Although at first I didn't want this major, but I think I have to study really hard to get my dreams and make my parents proud of it and finally in the last semester I have gained useful knowledge and work that suits my department or my initial choice, may my knowledge and understanding be expanded and I can be a programmer or data analyst.
